Believe Backs Best UK Breakthrough Band Category for HMA19

Distribution and marketing services powerhouse Believe is back for the Heavy Music Awards 2019, stepping up their previous involvement to back the Best UK Breakthrough Band category.

Nathan Barley Phillips, Artist Relations TuneCore / Believe UK, said, “We are delighted to be returning as an award category sponsor for the Heavy Music Awards 2019!

“The HMAs is a uniquely democratic event with a great ethos, giving recognition to artists at all stages of their careers. As a company that shares this supportive ethos with the label and artist services that we provide, we couldn’t be happier to continue championing this event!”

HMAs co-founder Andy Pritchard said, “In addition to continued success across multiple genres – not least with the likes of HMA18 Best Album winners While She Sleeps – the team at Believe understand the changing landscape of this industry and approach it in a way that is both innovative and effective, and valuable to the HMAs audience.

“We’re so excited to welcome Believe back to the Heavy Music Awards for 2019, and to unveil our plans for collaboration in the run-up to August’s event.”

The Breakthrough Band categories have offered up an electrifying mix of finalists since the inception of the HMAs in 2017. The inaugural award was taken by I Prevail, before a split to separate UK and International categories in 2018 won by Milk Teeth and Knocked Loose respectively.
