Rock and metal merchandise company, EMP, has been confirmed as Headline Sponsor the Heavy Music Awards 2017.
Described as “Europe’s leading multi-channel retailer of music and entertainment-inspired apparel and accessories”, EMP will present the award for Best Album at the inaugural HMAs on August 24 at House of Vans London.
Having become a regular fixture across the heavy music landscape both in the retail and the live music arena, EMP will now enjoy exposure at the event, through the HMAs’ rapidly expanding online audience, and via the extensive television coverage on Sky channel 367 thanks to our Broadcast Partner, Scuzz.
EMP’s Ajay Nassa said: “As Europe’s number one retailer of rock and metal merchandise, EMP is a natural fit to partner with the Heavy Music Awards.
“Founded over 30 years ago in Lingen, Germany by a group of die-hard rock and metal fans, we now operate in 18 countries across Europe, with more than 11,000 pieces of band merchandise available, including hundreds of exclusive items unavailable anywhere else.
“Sponsoring the Heavy Music Awards is a chance for EMP to engage with its fans and celebrate the talent and diversity of the metal world and its importance within the music industry.”
